SundayTwo people were killed as Russia launched a missile and drone attack on Ukraine’s eastern and central Ukrainian region of Dnipropetrovsk over the weekend. Five more people were injured in the strike.
Acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Vladyslav Haivanenko, reported the attack on his Facebook page. Haivanenko said Russia struck Nikopol, Pokrovske, Marhanets, Myrove, and Chervonohryhorivka communities with first-person-view drones, UAVs, and artillery.
"Due to one of the strikes in Marhanets, two people were killed – a 42-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man. There are also five wounded in the district. These are a 59-year-old man and women aged 21, 48, 52, and 69. Doctors assess the condition of the last one as serious," the official wrote. Russia launched more than sixty strikes on Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol district on Saturday.
