Ukrainian troops inflicted heavy losses on the Russian army during operations carried out over the past two days, Forces of Unmanned Systems, SBS, reported on Friday.
On February 11, drone operators of the “Kairos” unit under the 414th “Birds of Magyar” brigade struck an ammunition depot in the area of the settlement of Rozivka in Ukraine’s occupied southeastern Zaporizhzhia region. The attack launched with middle strike.
The following day, SBS drone operators launched strikes on the Kirov electrical substation in occupied eastern Luhansk region, “Guards” military airfield in Russian-annexed Crimea and Russian army’s data center Russia’s Primorsk region.
"Each of the affected facilities ensures the energy, aviation or communication stability of the enemy group in the TOT. Systematic strikes on such infrastructure disrupt the management and logistics of units, reducing the ability of the Russian army to maintain hostilities," the SBS said in a statement posted on Telegram app.
The air strikes on Russian military targets continued throughout Friday as well, with Ukrainian Defence Forces striking Russian 55Zh6U Nebo-U radar system in Crimea Peninsula, along with several other Russian targets in occupied territories, the General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces reported.
“As part of systematic efforts to reduce the offensive potential of the Russian aggressor, units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces on the night of February 13 carried out strikes on a number of key enemy facilities in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine,” the agency said in a statement. Other hit facilities are the concentration of Russian military personnel in Solodkovodne and Liubymivka in southeastern Zaporizhzhia region, drone operator deployment points near Tokmak and Mykhailivka in the same region. A logistics warehouse of the Russian army came under drone attacks in Selydove settlement of eastern Donetsk region. The extent of the damage inflicted on the Russan army has yet to be verified.
Meanwhile, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 800 Russian troops were eliminated over the past day, bringing the overall number of Russin losses to 1,250,950 personnel since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
