A mother and her three-year-old daughter were killed and the second daughter  aged 15 was injured in a Russian attack on the village of Kurtivka in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region.

The large-scale attack hit a residential area. The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, urged residents of the region to evacuate for their safety in a post made on Facebook on Tuesday.

According to Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, Russian army likely used a FAB-250 bomb with a UMPK guidance kit in the attack.

The strike on the residential area came as representatives of Ukraine and Russia held separate meetings with White House officials in Saudi Arabia in an effort to bring an end to the three-year-war. The sides signed an agreement on eliminating the use of force in the Black Sea on Tuesday. Under the deal, Kyiv and Moscow “have agreed to ensure safe navigation, eliminate the use of force, and prevent the use of commercial vessels for military purposes in the Black Sea.”
