Russian army’s daily death toll hits record 1,460

Russian army has suffered a record number of losses over the pat 24 hours, with Ukrainian troops killing 1,460 Russian soldiers, the General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on Friday. This figure brought Russia’s total combat losses to 696,410 since the start of the invasion of Ukraine nearly three years ago.
In addition, Ukrainian troops destroyed dozens of military hardware and equipment belonging to the Russian army during the hostilities over the past day. Thus, 6 tanks; 26 artillery systems; one multiple-launch rocket system; 25 tactical and strategic UAVs; one cruise missile; 77 vehicles and fuel tankers; 9 special vehicles and other equipment, 25 tactical and strategic UAVs; one cruise missile; 77 vehicles and fuel tankers; 9 special vehicles and other equipment belonging to Russian troops were destroyed in various parts of the front.
Overall, Russia has lost approximately 696,410 military personnel;
9,162 tanks; 18,470 armoured combat vehicles; 20,039 artillery systems; 1,244 multiple-launch rocket systems; 994 air defence systems; 369 fixed-wing aircraft; 329 helicopters; 18,088 tactical and strategic UAVs; 2,628 cruise missiles; 28 ships/boats; 1 submarine; 28,038 vehicles and fuel tankers; 3,579 special vehicles and other equipment since Moscow launched unprovoked and full-scale war in Ukraine on February 24 in 2022.
Russia’s heavy losses in the battle field come amid its troops’ advancement in dozens of villages and settlements of Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region in recent days.
