Russia says 38 Ukrainian drones intercepted over Crimea

The Russian Defence Ministry on Sunday said it intercepted 38 Ukrainian drones attacking Crimea’s northeastern Feodosiya town. The ministry claimed that all the drones were shot down.
Ukraine’s ATESH guerrilla movement claimed the explosions destroyed an oil pipeline in the Russian-annexed Crimea region.
In a statement published on Telegram, the Tatar-led group claimed the blasts have destroyed an oil pipeline, causing “colossal” damage. The group added that Russians were able to eliminate the consequences of the attack only on Sunday morning.
Strong blasts were heard near an oil depot in Crimea’s coastal Feodosiya town on the night of March 3, pro-Ukrainian Crimean Wind Telegram channel reported. The Kerch Bridge that connects Crimea with Russia was closed for traffic for more than eight hours. Russia has not reported any damage to the bridge. However, videos shared by the channel showed explosions followed by loud booms.
ATESH guerrilla group did not directly claim responsibility for the strike, and said it had learned about its consequences from informers among Russian-appointed officials.
In a separate development on Sunday, Russia targeted Ukraine’s southern Kherson region, killing one person and injuring three others, according to Ukrainian reports. Sixteen more people were reportedly injured in Russian shelling in Ukraine’s Kurakhove town.
