Russia destroys dozens of Ukrainian drones, military facilities, hardware over past day

Russia on Thursday claimed it destroyed 101 Ukrainian UAVs, dozens of military hardware and over 2,000 of Ukrainian soldiers during hostilities across the frontline on the night leading to December 5.
In a statement published on Thursday, the Russian Defence Ministry said Ukraine suffered heavy losses in terms of military personnel and military hardware during fighting that took place in south-eastern parts of Ukraine.
"Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck power facilities supporting the operation of Ukrainian military-industrial enterprises, infrastructure of military airfields, an assembly workshop of fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles and amassed enemy manpower and military equipment in 147 areas," the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, 65 military personnel and two motor vehicles were destroyed in the settlements of Veterinarnoye and Volchansk in Kharkiv. Additional 560 military personnel, a German-made Leopard tank, two armored combat vehicles, eight motor vehicles, two US-made M113 armored personnel carriers, two US-manufactured 155mm M198 howitzers and a British-made 105mm L119 artillery gun were destroyed in Kharkov region and Luhansk regions. Some 845 troops, along with two Ukrainian electronic warfare stations and an ammunition depot, a tank, a US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, two US-manufactured M113 armoured personnel carriers, dozens of equipment were destroyed in eastern Donetsk.
The ministry added that its defense forces downed two missiles of the US-supplied HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and 101 unmanned aerial vehicles. On the same day, Russian forces downed sixteen Ukrainian drones across Russian’ territories. Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 649 Ukrainian warplanes, 283 helicopters, 37,284 unmanned aerial vehicles, 586 surface-to-air missile systems, 19,630 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,497 multiple rocket launchers, 19,032 field artillery guns and mortars and 29,003 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry went on saying.
