Estonia's has unveiled a new aid package, providing clothing and small arms to Ukraine, Estonia’s Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said on X on Monday. The aid package reaffirms the Baltic country’s dedication to Ukraine’s defense by committing 0.25% of its GDP for military support, Pevkur stated.

Pevkur signed the relevant agreement on military assistance during the visit to Kyiv on November 11 where he met with President Volodymyr Zelenskiy. During the visit, the two leaders also discussed plans to finance the production of long-range drones in Ukraine, as well as Estonia's support for Ukraine’s goals of joining the European Union and NATO. Additionally, they reviewed the progress on a comprehensive victory plan for Ukraine. Zelenski’s “Victory Plan” that proposes terms for ending the Ukraine-Russia war on Kyiv’s terms, was also discussed during the Estonian defence minister’s visit.

Zelenskiy expressed gratitude for Estonia's leadership and highlighted the importance of effective collaboration to address Ukraine's defense requirements and equip new brigades.

Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, Estonia has been one of Kyiv’s strongest allies in Europe, providing humanitarian, developmental, and military aid. On June 26, Estonia and Ukraine signed a 10-year bilateral security agreement, under which Estonia has committed to supplying defense assistance valued at over 100 million euros.
